LHC full bench to hear Asif Ali Zardari dual offices case

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday constituted a five-member full bench to hear the case against President Asif Ali Zardari holding dual offices — of the President of Pakistan and the Co-chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

The LHC’s full bench will be headed by Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry and will begin hearing the case from March 2.

Other members of the bench include Justice Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Justice Omar Atta Bandial and Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman.

The petition against the holding of dual office by President Asif Ali Zardari was filed by A K Dogar.
