LAHORE: Actress Veena Malik has sent notice to cricketer Muhammad Asif for payment of Rs 1.3 million. Veena Malik has sent notice through Khawaja Lateef Advocate. It is maintained in the notice that Muhammad Asif gave her two cheques on February 10. One cheque was of Rs 74 lac while the other was of Rs 39 lac. Veena Malik deposited the cheques in her account which were dishonored. Bank officials returned the cheques with memos that sign on the cheque was not matching with that of account holder. Cricketer Muhammad Asif said that he had not to give any money to Veena Malik and sign on cheque was fake. Talking to media outside the National Cricket Academy Lahore, he said that Veena Malik tried to blackmail me using different means. He said that he has married, and Veena Malik should marry as it is the best age for marriage. Showing an FIR, he said that his cheque book was lost and the cheque shown by Veena Malik was not signed by me.
