US special envoy for the Pakistan & Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke with PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD:  US special envoy for the Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke called on PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday.
           
Sharif told the US official that both Pakistan and India should resume the composite dialogue process.

He also emphasized that genuine peace and stability was not possible without a resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people.

Sharif also expressed concern over India’s designs to deprive Pakistan of its due share of water under the Indus Water Basin Treaty.
